Kim vs Yori or How I learned to stop worrying and Love the Destiny.

Chapter 2: Flashback.  

Yori looked at our redhead directly into her eyes-"Finally the day has arrived, Kim-san. I hope you are ready to FACE your destiny”.

With a defying attitude, Kim answered -"I tell you the same. ¡Don’t even think I’m afraid of you!"-.

At the hearing of these words, the ninja smiled in a machiavelic way. -"I’m happy to know that I will be able to carry out my compromise. ¿Tell me, do you still remember it?"

-“I hadn’t forgotten...."

At Possibles’s house,  the full moon can be seen, lots of clouds are in the night sky. The outdoors do not reflect the warmth lived incide the house.  It is Collage Graduaqtion Party, Kim and Ron have just finished their respective studies and now they are officialy proffesionals. Ron studied to be a Chef, he cursed his last semestre at the  Superior School of gastronomy at Paris and graduated with honors. Kim obtained her degree in Internacional Realtions and currently she is studying her Global MBA at Thunderbird University. For the occasion,  the Possibles invited basically all the people they knew: the Stoppables, Monique, Team Go (with the notable exception of Shego), Yori, Wade, Félix…. However, in this party there was a person who was not very happy: Yori.

She is on the upper deck now, resting her arms on the balcony’s rail. She watches the stars with a look of sadness and contempt. Kim notices  that  Yori is not in the living room enjoying the party and after searching for her in all the house, she goes to the deck. There she finds her and tries to talk to her.

-It’s cold out there, You don’t want to go into the house?- Kim asks politely, while walking towards Yori

-No, thanks, I’m fine.- answered Yori, indifferently.

-You sure? Is that it will be convenient for you to go incide, since the wind is blowing. Besides, party is not complete without you- said Kim, trying to convince her.

No response.

Kim tried again –“I told Ron to cook something special for the ocassion…”

-Do you know what the problem is Posible-san?- Yori finally said something- The problem is that you always treat Ron-San as if he was only your sidekick, your servant, your object always ready to serve you.
-But….
-You just said “I told Ron to cook something”, Not even at his own party can you leave him alone?

Kim stood there, petrified, she was not expecting to hear that, specially from Yori.

-Is that he always has to be your sidekick and nothing else? –she continued –Do you like to have him always subjugated to your wishes and orders?

-Hey, hey!, Ron is not only my sidekick, he is my best friend since Pre-K and also we have been a couple for five years. I love him and I don’t think that asking something to him is bad. Anyway, he doesn’t care…

- He doesn’t care becaues you have always treated him like the heel of your shoes. For you, he was never boyfriend material. In your way of thinking, Ron was nothing more than a useful idiot. -. Tell me ¿Who else would have followed you in all your missions, knowing that in every single one he could die?-

Kim remained silent. How could Yori dare to say those things?

-Ron followed you everywhere because he loved you. People do crazy things driven by love. Ron loved you from the beginning. He is such a noble, good hearted and brilliant boy that he would not rebel against you, nor anybody. That’s why he never cared how you treated him, he would be always there for you- finished saying Yori.
  
- That is right, he is indeed a very noble and good-hearted boy, but ¿Ron brilliant? Look, Ron needs the fingers of his feet to count up to twenty. Don’t come saying that Ron is brilliant.- said Kim,  angry to see somebody that knew Ron so well.

-Do you see what I mean? You haven’t accepted Ron-san as he is. You still want to change him. You don’t love Ron-san, you only want to posses him and to dominate him.- said Yori enigmatically.

-¡That’s not true!- said an angry Kim- ¡I love Ron!

-You think you love him. It took you more than 14 years to realice that Ron-san actully loved you- said  Yori, with ice on her voice.- Poor  Ron-san, living fifteen years of his life with a harpy like you!- her voice became cold as a blizzard.

-A few years ago you said you were happy that Ron and I were finally a couple Youe even mentioned that destiny had joined us together. I don’t know what’s wrong with you today…-Listen.. –Kim continued, trying to keep composure – I don’t know what is your objective with this conversation, but I warn you: There is nothing you can do to separate us, Ron is mine already, understand!!!.-exclaimed with rage.

-There is a way…- said Yori while lowering her stare, her voice was cold as the wind. Yori advanced a pair of steps forward, towards Kim, grabbed her firmly by her FACE, by her cheeks and befote Kim could react, she planted a deep kiss on her mouth. At the same time she blowed air deep incide the mouth or the redhead. Kim was shocked, this reaction from Yori had no sense at all, unless it was the…

-The Death’s Kiss!- said Kim, scared.

-Así es Posible-san. Your destiny has been sealed, just like mine. Next time we see each otehr, it will be the last, I swear it by my honor..- as she finished saying this, Yori flied away , using Buujuyutzu (Chi-flight) towards the moon. Kim followed Yori’s flight path, with her eyes, until Yori disappeared.

Wind blew with strength, the moon was brighter than ever. Kim punched the rail, while thinking about everything Yori had said. She knew that it was true, but she was just too proud to admit it, even before herself. Kim looked up, to the skies, she was filled with resolve. She exclaimed:

-I don’t care what the destiny has reserved for me, I’m ready for it! And if that involves fighting to death  against Yori to defend my lifea and the man I love, well, then so be it!!- and after saying this, Kim entered her house, a powerful resolve in her eyes.  A gust of wind crossed the air, howling, as if it was mourning for something.
