We have analyzed the complete tape, we can start to conclude some things. Eight frozen frames are shown in the illustration, each showing a critical point of the transformation. Only the parts of the body where changes were present are shown.
3:10 During the first ten minutes no changes were observed. Then it happened: Kim started to have a strong fever, as the thermal spectrum analysis of the tape shown. It lasted for another ten minutes. We believe the fever reflected the battle between her immune system and the virus. We know that the virus won. Kim was still unconscious and showing Rapid Eye Movement (REM). 3:20 The flood of virus managed to change all of Kim's cells in twenty minutes. Now, her body follows the program just imprinted on her DNA. A visible swelling in the thighs can be seen, and formation of blood vessels around the femur is suspected. Possibly bone dissolving cells appeared. Kim's feet started to look limp, the toes started to spread and develop more skin. 3:30 The feet bent to an unnatural position, the toes grew much longer and spread further. The new skin started to form a thin webbing between each toe. Several tendril-like appendages formed in the inner face of the thighs and started to frantically move, towards the opposite thigh. After a few tries, each tendril adhered to the opposite thigh, bringing Kim's legs together, and helding them in place. A sligth darkening can bee seen on her sides, and a loss of melanine is identifiable in the inner side of the legs. In her sleep, Kim moves her legs a bit as if stretching, but her motions become fainter as the nerves from waist down disconnect and start to rewire. 3:40 The toes grew even longer and lost structure, remaining as boneless lumps, the webbing became thicker and more firm, as collagen started to strenghten it. The darkening is more defined and we distinguish the color pattern of an orca. Kim is losing melanine faster, her legs becoming more white by the minute. More tendrils develop, and latch her legs, firmly. We distinguish that the skin of her joined calves is dissolving and allowing the free contact of her muscles. 3:50 Too many tendrils formed and now Kim's legs look more like a tail. The calves and knees are dissapearing but are still visible. We see a lot of inner motion beneath the skin, as the former leg muscles reorganize themselves. We believe that her tail bone grew, and developed new vertebrae, taking advantage of the fact that the former legs are now a unified lump. The color pattern is settling in. Kim's toes are no more, as two pre-flukes overwhelms them. The feet spread and flatten quickly. The nails are still attached. 4:00 The legs are almost totally fused, a long indentation showns where the separation of the legs used to be. Both pre-flukes join, finally, becoming a rudimentary unified fluke, which grows stronger. More motion can be seen as the muscles rearrange around the new vertebrae and shinew connects them. Small orca like spots start to form in the fluke. 4:10 Kim's tail is almost completely formed, the motion diminishes and the darkening of her sides and back slows down, achieving a mid-night black. Her belly and lower part of her tail become almost totally white. The spots grew larger. In the wilderness, orcas use the spots as means of identification, just as humans use fingerprints. The nails start to fall off. We can't see it, but also a dorsal fin formed just above where her low back used to be. 4:20 No more changes are present, we assume the tail and fluke connected to her nervous system and that are now fully functional. Kim starts to move again. She woke up at 4:34. |
